What are your shipping charges? How do you ship?

Do you ship outside of the United States?
Yes, please email us at
info@unicornmills.com or contact us at 508 228-6233 phone or 508 228-6358 fax. Shipping charges depend on country and shipping method.

What is the warranty for the Unicorn Mills? All our grinders have a one year warranty. If you ever had a problem with one of our mills, please call us when you have your grinder handy. By asking a few questions about the mill we can likely solve any difficulties.

Where can I purchase your products? We are mainly direct, via phone -800 634-8881, or Internet -www.unicornmills.com. The Pepppergun and Minimills are only available directly from us.

I'm ordering a gift to be sent directly to the recipient. Can you include a gift card or message?  Yes, we can include a card. Please use the comment box at check out to write your message. We will include a gift receipt (no price on receipt) and a gift card.

Where are your products made?  The steel grinding mechanism used in our peppermills is imported from Italy, every other part is made in the USA. We assemble and ship all orders from Nantucket Island, Massachusetts.

What is your return policy?  All products are fully refundable. Please feel free to try any product for a few weeks, a few months. If, for any reason, you are unhappy, return the product for a full refund.

What’s the difference between the Magnum Plus and the Magnum?
The Magnum Plus, at 9 inches, is a taller version of the Magnum, which is 6 inches tall. They both have the same large
grinding mechanism. The Magnum Plus, because of its extra length, gives better leverage and is more useful as a kitchen tool. The Magnum comes with a serving tray to catch pepper dust. A serving tray is not available with the Magnum Plus.

How do I fill the grinder?
The circular depression on the side of of the grinder is acutally a hole in a band of plastic that encircles the grinder. Slide the band sideways and it will reveal the loading hole.

Do your grinders allow for a wide range of grinds?
Yes. You can adjust the grinding coarseness on all our mills. There is a thumbscrew on the bottom of all our mills except the Minimill. Turn the thumbscrew clockwise for a finer
grind , counter clockwise for a coarser grind. The Minimill’s thumbscrew is found on the top of the mill.

How do I clean my mill?
There is no need to clean the interior of your mill. Use Windex or Fantastic and paper towel to clean the exterior.

Do your grinders come filled with pepper or salt?
No. We
sell whole peppercorns and coarse sea salt. The spices are packed in containers that make our grinders very easy to fill.

Can I put salt in my pepper mill?
No, salt will corrode the steel. We sell salt versions of the Magnum, Keytop and Peppergun. They have ceramic grinding mechanisms and are available in white.

Do you make wooden pepper mills?
No, all our mills are made from ABS plastic.

Is a catalogue available?
Yes, please email or phone and ask to receive one.
